Our Mission: The Red Devil Legacy Foundation serves as a connecting link between Dawson County High School alumni, students, staff, and the Glendive community — strengthening relationships, supporting opportunities, and investing in the future of DCHS.
Our Vision: To create a strong, connected network that supports Dawson County High School at every level — from daily needs to long-term growth — ensuring future generations have even greater opportunities than those before them.
The Red Devil Legacy Foundation was created with a simple goal: to support Dawson County High School in ways that go beyond traditional funding. We saw an opportunity to bring together alumni, community members, and supporters to build something lasting — a network that gives back, stays connected, and continues to invest in the school for generations to come.
A dedicated group of alumni, community members, and supporters working together to guide the mission and growth of the foundation.
Meet the people carrying the Red Devil legacy forward. Each board member answered a few questions about their connection to DCHS, what inspires them to serve, and the impact they hope to make for today’s students and future generations.

What is your current profession?
Activities Director at DCHS
Where are you employed?
Glendive Public Schools
What is your connection to the Red Devils?
I currently serve as the Activities Director for Glendive Public Schools. In my time at DCHS, I have served as the Principal, Assistant Principal, Social Studies and English Instructor as well as Weights. I have also watched three of my six children attend Glendive Public Schools and graduate from DCHS. I am also currently the Head Boys Basketball coach at DCHS, the Head Flag Football coach and Student Council Advisor.
Why did you choose to get involved in the RDLF?
I truly believe that the success of our school system is tied to the people who have been through it. They represent not only the past, but also a vision of the future as well. I want to help provide a way for people to help a cause that directly affects all students by providing a source of community engagement that reaches beyond Glendive. We have many alumni who take great pride in being a Red Devil and I truly believe that creating a way for them to give back allows them to continue to be part of DCHS even if they do not live in Glendive.
What does the Red Devil Legacy Foundation mean to you personally?
It provides me a way to connect the past with the present. Our alumni can be our greatest resource. There has always been a strong sense of pride when it comes to being a Red Devil. An alumni foundation provides a source for our alumni to give back and help ensure the same opportunities and experience for all students who go through DCHS.
What are you most passionate about supporting through this Foundation?
There isn't one activity. My hope is that a foundation such as this can provide support in academics, athletics, clubs, and anything else that gives the students at DCHS a chance to be as successful as possible. Then in turn they will want to give back and help keep those same experiences and opportunities alive and well for future generations.
What impact do you hope the Foundation has on the students and the community?
My hope is that is will create sense of connection and pride from one generation of Red Devils to the next.
What are your personal goals as a board member?
I want to be part of foundation that creates a legacy of pride in our schools and our community.
Where do you hope to see the Foundation in 5-10 years?
My hope is that the foundation is a strong, thriving organization that is looked upon as a group that exists to support the students at DCHS in any way needed. It is a group that is seen as a positive force in the community which parents and alumni support because they see the great work that has been done in the past. It is also an ever-changing organization that evolves to meet the needs and serve the schools and students as needed. It should be maintained by an evolving board that reflects a progressive approach and people want to serve on it.
Who, or what, has influenced your commitment to giving back?
We need to work as a greater community to make sure we provide the same experiences to all students who attend DCHS that has been provided in the past. Our schools reflect our community. Our students reflect our schools. Our commitment to providing the best opportunities to our students is reflected by the efforts of the community around them.

Now, as a parent with kids in the school, this has become even more personal. Supporting capital projects isn’t just about buildings or fields—it’s about leaving the program stronger than we found it.
